Hey there! it's Haylee from the blog team! It’s no doubt that 2020-21 have been hard on all of us. With all of the bad, negative news, and uncertainty of what is going to happen next, it is super easy to get discouraged and sad. So for today’s blog post, I wanted to create something that leaves you with nothing but good vibes, happiness, and a positive outlook on the future.
For my first little “dose of happiness” I’ve created this short little list of things that make me happy to think about when I’m feeling sad and that cheer me up when I'm surrounded by negativity.
When everyone sings along to a song together.
Driving down the road with the windows down.
Elderly couples who still hold hands.
That feeling you get after you finish a long workout.
Laughing so hard you start crying.
Waking up early for vacation and putting all your bags into your vehicle.
Remember when conversations.
Oversized hoodies and fuzzy socks.
Lighting a candle after you finish cleaning.
Throughout this whole “Covid-19 journey” we’ve all been on, I have noticed that people are also becoming more quiet, reserved, and almost scared to talk to others because of fear of how the other person may react, but instead of continuing this trend, I think it is the perfect time to spread happiness to others, because we need it now more than ever. So, next up, here's a few of my favorite compliments I’ve ever received that I’ve never forgot about, so maybe you can use them to cheer up others!
“You smell so good”
“Your smile lights up the room.”
“You have such a contagious laugh”
“You bring out the best in others.”
“You have such great style”
“You give great advice”
“You have the best ideas”
Lastly, If none of these previous lists have helped you very much, here are a few of my favorite Bible verses to remind me that better things are coming and to never lose faith.
1 Peter 5:7
Hope you guys enjoyed, see you guys soon! Comment down below your favorite things from this list! Haylee
