Hi Everyone! It’s Laura and I’m so very excited to be sharing my very first blog post with you guys! Before starting off though, I just want to thank Ximena for this opportunity! Anyway, for most of us school is back in session and our summer lifestyles are having to be swapped for a more productive routine! If your anything like me, some things are still taking some getting used too! (like waking up early, being productive, or just managing your time better!) So that is why today I am going to be sharing some daily habits that will literally change your life and help you to get back on your school grind (whether that be at your house or at school!) 1. Waking up and going to bed early!![]() This is probably the MOST important habit ever! In order for your day to be productive you HAVE to get a good night sleep! Plus if you get a good night sleep, waking up early will be much easier! It’s scientifically proven that waking up early is much better for you! Studies show that waking up early...
2. Making your bed ![]() This might sound cheesy, but making your bed is honestly a key to staying productive! Once someone told me that once your bed is made, your room is already 70% cleaner! Having a clean space is so important in order to have the best day possible. A couple years ago my teacher showed us this video about the importance of making your bed. It was honestly very inspiring! Here’s the link if you ever need some motivation! 3. Move! ![]() Getting some sort of movement in every day is so awesome for you! It’s good for you both mentally and physically! Whether you workout, take a quick jog, or just dance to your favorite music! Some people say working out in the morning is the best for you (which they probably aren’t wrong) but if you aren’t a morning person working out in the afternoon is great for you too! 4. Plan out your day ![]() Just like the first habit, this one is very important as well! There’s honestly so many things that you can do in a day, and if you don’t plan out your day ahead of time... your brain will be overwhelmed! You can write it down in a bullet journal, planner or just on the reminders or notes app on your phone! 5. Drink more water! ![]() This last one I could definitely work on! Your body is about 60% water, so if you don’t drink water often you’ll be tired, dehydrated and just not as productive as you can be! Don’t worry if you don’t drink a lot of water (honestly I don’t either and it’s something I need to work on too) but the more water you drink the better and healthier you will be! So that’s all for the habits, I hope you enjoyed them and that they were helpful to you! See you next time! -Laura Laura's Youtube Laura's Pinterest
