Hey everyone, this is Izzy from the Blog Creative Team!

Like myself and many other teens are either in school full time, or have a part time job. So balancing a YouTube channel with that can be very difficult. Don’t worry, I am here to give you 4 easy steps to help you balance your youtube channel and your school work.

**First off I just wanted to mention that school work always comes first over your youtube channel. So please make sure you are recognizing the importance of each task!

1. Make a schedule

It might seem lame, but you need to figure out when you'll have time to film and edit between work/school. Depending on your hobby, sports and school you might also have homework to factor in. While you're doing this you might also want to consider your social circles, family, and other hobbies.

2. Follow through

You have to actually follow the schedule you've made. Maybe in your schedule every Sunday you film 4 videos to upload throughout the next few weeks. Then you edit after work/school. You need to follow the schedule you create for yourself!

3. Find your rhythm

Play with your schedule until you find a pattern that works best for you. For me I have school every day from 7:20 until 2:30, so Saturday I film and plan out my schedule for the upcoming weeks, Sunday I record any last minute clips, Then I edit throughout the week whenever I have time. So I highly suggest experimenting with different schedules until you find one that really works for you.

4. Be Flexible

Now that you have your schedule and you're following it, know that you are allowed to make changes. Your schedule isn't a MUST DO, it's a guideline so you can complete all the tasks you have ahead of you.

If you miss an upload, don't bully yourself about it, next time create a few back up videos. Don't turn down a great opportunity because it doesn't follow your schedule.

Many other teens are in school full time, or have a part time job. Balancing a YouTube channel has just become some much easier. Teens like you who have implemented these 4 simple tips have seen drastic changes in their performance in both school, and Youtube!
