Hey everyone! It's Jaena from the blog team, and in this post I am going to share with you guys some super entertaining things to do over school breaks, at sleepovers, by yourself, or whenever! All of these ideas are really fun to do, so I would definitely recommend trying at least one of these ideas out, so let’s get on with this post :)
Hey guys! It's Alana from the blog team!
Habits are very important in your life. If you are wanting to be successful or if you are passionate and want to do the best you can in life, habits are so important! It takes 21 days to effectively hold a habit. Some habits you might already be using can be eating breakfast, brushing your teeth, or making your bed. Habits can also become bad too. Beneficial habits can be the smallest things that make the biggest changes! To have successful habits you need to first come up with things you can work on to better your life or things you are wanting to change. An example could be, if you are not getting a lot of exercises you could start a habit, where you are going on walks every day in your neighborhood or do a challenge to help you reach your goal! Sometimes with habits, you dream and get excited but when it gets hard you stop and you quit. If you want to achieve your dreams you need to keep pushing through! Also, I think it's important to align your habits with your goals. An example of aligning a habit with a goal, is if your goal is to be a great calligraphist and you don't know how to do calligraphy yet, then start a habit of spending 15 minutes each day to devote to calligraphy! If you are interested in learning more I would highly recommend reading the book, “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. I hope this helped you incorporate some beneficial habits in your life and I can't wait to see all that you do! Comment some habits you want to start incorporating in your life! <3 Alana hey guys it's selah here from the blog team :)I’m sure you’ve heard people say so many things like “You only live once!” or “Live your life to the fullest!”. Even though this makes sense, it is hard to apply it to your life. I think most people would agree that going through the same old same old every day for the rest of your life sounds a little boring. Since it’s clear we don’t want that, how do we make life more enjoyable? It is different for everyone, but I can give you a few tips to start seeing your life through a new lens.
ahhh hello guys! In case you may have missed my introduction my name is Haylee, I’m 16 years old, and I’m from Virginia. Writing has always been something I loved doing so when Ximena opened up her blog applications I just knew I had to apply!
I decided that since this is my first post and the new year is finally upon us I wanted to dedicate my first post to 2021! No doubt 2020 was rough, actually it was extremely rough, but there’s no time for feeling sorry for yourself anymore and we have to work hard at our goals to make sure our future is even better! So, without any further ado, I bring to you “Steps to Build a Successful Lifestyle” <3 Hey everyone, and happy 2021! It is Jaena here from the blog team. I know the struggle of finding delicious but healthy things to fit your cravings, whether it be after school lunchtime, etc. but I'm here to give you some quick, easy, and healthy afterschool snacks anyone can make! Let me know down below in the comments if you try any of them out :) 1. Apple Bites![]() The first one is apple bites! This recipe is so simple, you only need 2 ingredients and any toppings you like. Collect however many apples you need, I usually use about 1 since apples are pretty filling, and wash it off. Once it is thoroughly washed, you can use an apple cutter to cut your apples, or cut them with a sharp knife into any shape. You could also take the skin off with a knife, but PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE DOING THIS! Put your sliced apples on a plate and then add your desired dip! Some of my favorites are peanut butter, carmel, fruit dip, or nutella! There are also a variety of toppings you coat your apples in such as chocolate chips, nuts, sprinkles, and coconut shreds! 2. Smoothies!![]() The second snack is also a personal favorite, smoothies! There are hundreds of recipes you can use to make smoothies, but another one of my favorites is strawberry banana and mixed berry! Pinterest has amazing recipes for smoothie bowls, so if you are looking for a different flavor I would 100% recommend looking on there or a YouTube channel called “Twin Coast”. Some tips for making any sort of smoothie is to make sure your fruit is frozen, and to not add ice if it is. Oat milk is also amazing for smoothies since it makes it creamy and is a healthier alternative to regular milk. If you are wanting a thick smoothie bowl you only need a little liquid. Make sure you shake up/mix your smoothie after blending for a few seconds so your smoothie is one consistency. Comment below your favorite smoothie recipe for others to try! 3. Chocolate Peanut Butter Bananas (yum!)![]() Chocolate peanut butter bananas is the next amazing snack you need to try! Grab some bananas, 1 whole one probably makes around 10 pieces, and cut them into about ½ inch thick pieces. Grab some peanut butter and add a little onto one side of the banana and sandwich another piece of banana on top! Freeze for about 10 minutes. Then, melt some chocolate chips (milk or dark), in intervals in your microwave being careful to not burn your chocolate! Dip each individual banana sandwich into the melted chocolate, and add onto a freezer safe plate lined with parchment paper. Freeze until the chocolate has completely hardened, and they are amazing! 10/10 recommend! 4. HEALTHY cookie dough![]() Another sweet one, but healthy cookie dough is a great after school snack! It only takes 5 ingredients, and makes about 1 serving size. You will need 4 tablespoons of almond flour, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1 tablespoons of almond or peanut butter, and 2 tablespoons of milk. Stir thoroughly until it becomes a thick crumbly cookie dough texture. Add in some chocolate chips and you're done! So amazing and healthy as well! 5. Peppers & Cream Cheese![]() To finish off with a viral snack, peppers and cream cheese! You will only need a bell pepper, cream cheese, and everything bagel seasoning (any brand works!) Cut your bell peppers into thick strips, making sure you cut off the top, end, and deseed it. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on a bell pepper strip and sprinkle some bagel seasoning to top it off. Super simple, healthy, and amazingly good! All of the components of this snack work so well together to give an amazing flavor! That is all I have for this blog post, and I hope you found one healthy recipe you would like to try! There are plenty of substitutions for these recipes so play around with it and find something you like. Thank you all for reading, and I will see you all in my next post! Jaena Nevaeh Hi everyone! Hey guys I’m Emma and today’s blog post will be about the best Fall-themed deserts. If you are as crazy as me and go all out for fall, this blog post is for you! Pumpkins, Sweaters, and orange leaves are fall but let me help you have an even better autumn experience! Here are my top 3 favorite fall desserts... 1. Pumpkin PieI love pumpkin pie at any time of the year. It could be winter, spring, or summer and I could still be eating pumpkin pie! My family has our own unique pumpkin pie recipe that makes it even more special. And of course, we always make more than one because we always eat it in less than 5 minutes haha. Some of my fav pumpkin pie recipes are Simply recipes or Sallys Baking Addiction. 2. Pumpkin BreadAs you might have noticed, I’m obsessed with pumpkins. But pumpkin bread. Once I have it I can’t stop. It's a pretty bad addiction. Pumpkin bread is made in so many ways but a recipe that’s my favorite is Food Networks. So I highly recommend you try it out! 3. Pumpkin CupcakesI not only love pumpkin cupcakes but I love making them. It’s like doing chemistry, but in your kitchen. If I had either to have soda for the rest of my life or Pumpkin cupcakes, I would for sure choose pumpkin cupcakes. My favorite pumpkin cupcake recipe is Live Well Bake Often. Are you drooling? Me too haha. If you enjoyed this blog post make sure to leave a comment, with your favorite one! Read more fun blog posts here. My Instagram is @emma.sektiaji.
